Tinora High School presents “No Vacancy” play this weekend, Saturday, April 12th 7:30pm and Sunday, April 13th at 3:00pm. Tickets available at the door $6 for adults and $4 for students. Good Luck Miss Darby, cast and crew!
Class officer petitions are now available in the office. Please pick up an application if you are interested in running for class officer for the 2014-15 school year. Applications need to be completed and returned to the office by Thursday, April 17.
The National Honor Society is taking donations for the Veteran’s Hospital. Items range from combs and shampoo to puzzles and books. If you’d like to donate anything, there is a list in the office in the office. All items are due by April 17 and can be dropped off in Mrs. McConaughy’s room. Let’s help out the veteran’s that served our country!
Juniors & Seniors: Prom tickets are now on sale in the office. Tickets are $35 each and must be purchased by TODAY, April 11. All students attending prom must also have a signed permission form on file. Prom t-shirts are available for an additional $10 and may be ordered when you buy tickets.
There is a sign up sheet in the office to try out for the 2014-2015 cheerleading season.
Good luck to all Baseball, Softball and track teams at their competitions this weekend.
Seniors check the scholarship box for the Chad Meyer Memorial Scholarship. Applicant must be going to a Division 3 college to play a sport. April 15th is the deadline.
Students taking the ACT tomorrow at Defiance HS – the location of the testing has changed to the Defiance Middle School located on 629 Arabella Street. Students may park on both sides of Arabella, behind triangle park & in front of the Church. There is also a lot on Seymour Way near Domino’s Pizza. Allow extra time for parking. See Miss Cavanaugh if you have questions.
Seniors check the scholarship box for the Troy Warncke Memorial Scholarship. You must be attending NWSCC, Defiance College or the University of Toledo majoring in art, graphic design, business, criminal justus, pre-law, political science, or history. April 30th deadline.
