TINORA'S MILITARY WALL
With the installation of silver title letters over the space, Tinora’s Military Honor Wall is finished! The Tinora High School Student Council, under the leadership of advisors, Traci Flory and Juliann Shonk, and student committee leaders, Riley Nagel and Megan Marihugh, spearheaded the creation of the military honor wall to recognize the service of students from the Northeastern Local School District. Megan Marihugh said, “We’d seen similar projects in other schools and wanted the same kind of recognition for the men and women of Tinora who have served our country.”
Funded by the student council and donations from local groups and individuals, the wall is located in the JH/HS building. It showcases emblems from each service branch, pictures of active military and name plates of veterans that have graduated from Tinora. New names will be added each year in the fall. To submit a name, contact the superintendent’s office or print a form from the link on the school website.
